Collection: Keri Systems Proximity Cards & Key Tags
Keri Systems readers come in a few families, and each family takes its own credentials. Picking the wrong Keri card is the most common reorder mistake we see. This page lists every Keri card and tag we carry, and the notes below sort them by reader family.
Match the card to your reader
-
MS-Series readers (MS-3000, MS-4000, MS-5000, MS-7000): PKT-10X key tag, KC-10X standard light card, MT-10XP card and MT-10XM card with mag stripe.
-
26-bit Keri cards and tags: PKT-26X key tag, KC-26X Intelliprox card, MT-26XP card and MT-26XM card with mag stripe.
-
NXT readers: NXT-C card and NXT-K key ring tag. These are 26-bit, 125 kHz credentials with 96-bit encryption between card and reader. Keri sets the facility code and number, and you cannot choose them.
-
Pyramid Series readers (P-300 to P-700): PSC-1 standard light card and the PSM-2P printable card. The PSM-2P comes in Keri, HID or AWID compatible versions, so pick the one that matches your reader.
The model number on the card or tag tells you which family it belongs to. The "10X" models carry the Keri format; the "26X" models are 26-bit. If the label is worn off, check your access software or the last packing slip.
Card styles
KC-series cards are thin with a factory slot punch, and they take a photo through an adhesive overlay. MT-series cards are full ISO size and print in a dye-sublimation printer; the XM versions add a magnetic stripe. PKT key tags are fully transfer molded and very hard to break.
Most Keri cards are sequentially numbered from the factory, except C5 formatting. Pack sizes are 25 or 50.
FAQ
Will NXT cards work on my older Keri system?
Keri lists the NXT-C and NXT-K as not compatible with its Doors/PXL family of products. If your site runs that family with MS-Series readers, order the 10X credentials instead.
Can I choose my own card numbers?
For NXT cards, no; Keri assigns them and does not issue duplicates. For other Keri cards, they arrive sequentially numbered, and we can ask about a range when you order.
Which Keri card can I print a photo on?
The MT-10XP, MT-10XM, MT-26XP, MT-26XM and PSM-2P are ISO cards built for dye-sublimation printers. Thinner KC cards take an adhesive photo overlay instead.
See proximity cards vs smart cards for how 125 kHz cards compare to newer credentials.
