Collection: Evolis Card Printer Ribbons

Evolis ribbons are made for specific printer families, and a ribbon from one family will not load in another. The quickest way to reorder is to read the part number off your empty ribbon core. If you do not have it, use your printer model and the list below.

Ribbons by printer

Pebble, Dualys and Securion: R3011 YMCKO color (200 prints), R3013 half panel YMCKO (400), and R2011 black, R2016 gold, R2017 silver and R2018 scratch-off (1,000 each). The R2000 monochrome ribbons also fit the Quantum. The R3013 also fits the Quantum.
Dual-sided Dualys, Quantum and Securion: R3314 YMCKOK (200 prints).
Quantum (first generation): R3111 YMCKO (1,000 prints) and R2131 black (3,000 prints).
Quantum 2: R3511 YMCKO and R3514 YMCKOK (500 prints each), plus the R2131 black.
Zenius and original Primacy: R5F002AAA YMCKO (200 prints), R5H004NAA half panel, and RCT017NAA silver.
Primacy 2: R6F203A100 YMCKO-K (200 prints). Primacy 2 does not take the older Primacy ribbons.
Tattoo and Tattoo 2: R3411 YMCKO (Tattoo 2 only) and R2211 black (600 prints).
Badgy100 and Badgy200: CBGR0500K black (500 prints).
Specialty: R2030 signature panel ribbon for the Pebble and Dualys, and the R4002 holographic varnish ribbon (confirm your model accepts it before ordering).

Reading the ribbon code

Y, M and C are the color panels. K is black resin, the only panel that gives scannable barcodes. O is a clear overlay that protects the print. YMCKOK adds a second black panel for the back of the card, so you need a dual-sided printer. Half panel ribbons print color on half the card and roughly double the yield.

Can I use a non-Evolis ribbon?

Evolis ties printer warranty coverage to genuine supplies, and off-brand ribbons can damage the printhead. Every ribbon we sell here is genuine Evolis.
